The Seneschal manages the administration of the group’s historical recreation and functions as the legal representative of the Society for the conduct of real-world group business activities.
Lord Albanus also serves as the Ritterwald Social Media Officer and is responsible for the group’s official Facebook page & group.

The Minister of Arts and Sciences (MoAS) is responsible for fostering the study of period culture, technology, and methods for producing historically accurate artifacts and performances.

Knight’s Marshal (Martial Arts Coordinator) ⭐

The Knight’s Marshal must ensure that designated official combat practices are conducted per Society and Atlantian policies. The Knight’s Marshal must also ensure that the branch has a marshal present at such combat practices for all disciplines. Marshals may represent any or all disciplines in which they hold warrants.

Chatelain (Newcomer Outreach & Accommodation)
The Chatelain is responsible for promoting the recruitment and retention of newcomers and novices. The Chatelain’s guidance and leadership can influence attitudes or initiate policies that will strongly impact the group’s growth and well-being.

The Herald provides heraldic and scribal support services to the group as a member of the Atlantian College of Heralds and Scribes. The Herald supports individuals interested in heraldry and scribal arts, and assists group members with developing and submitting their SCA name and personal heraldry.

Webminister (Website Maintainer)

The Webminister oversees the group’s designated official websites and ensures they comply with Society policies. The Webminister is also tasked with coordinating the assignment of @ritterwald.atlantia.sca.org email addresses for the Canton.

The Finance Committee assists with day-to-day financial decisions and financial oversight. These members are signatories to the group’s modern accounts. It is composed of the Senechal, Exchequer, and three populace members.
⭐ Core Officers. To maintain its status as an SCA Canton, the group must have an active Seneschal, Exchequer, and either a Minister of A&S or Knight Marshal.
